Schedule guide

What happens at chauffeur call time

Call time is pickup time minus the lead hours setting, 3 hours by default. It is shown on every run. At call time the chauffeur confirms the run.

Steps

These are the steps from call time to pickup.

  1. Read call time on the booking

Call time appears on the booking, the day board, and the chauffeur phone view before pickup time. It is recalculated when pickup time changes.

  2. Chauffeur confirms the run

At call time the chauffeur confirms the run on the phone. Confirming unlocks the chauffeur details message for approval by a person.

  3. Chauffeur finishes the daily check

The chauffeur completes the clean and inspect for the vehicle before the first call time, records odometer and fuel, and checks that the vehicle is ready.

  4. Chauffeur fuels and drives in

Fuel is at 3/4 tank or more as part of the check. The chauffeur then drives to the pickup point.

  5. Chauffeur advances status

The chauffeur advances through En route, On location, Passenger on board, and Complete in order with one tap per step.

What you receive

Chauffeur details arrive at call time, not at booking.

  • Chauffeur name.
  • Vehicle colour and type.
  • Plate.
  • Direct line.
  • For airport arrivals, meet at baggage claim with a name sign.

Why details wait until call time

A chauffeur can be reassigned before pickup. Sending details at call time means the name, vehicle, and phone you receive match the run.

  • The customer receives chauffeur name, vehicle, and phone only after Driver confirmed.
  • Public pages hide chauffeur details before that stage.
  • Each message draft waits for a person to approve it before it is sent.
